Optical Protection Plan

Every eyewear purchase at SJEA includes complimentary cleanings, adjustments, nose pad replacements, screw tightening or replacement, and any needed frame alignments.

We’re committed to helping you take care of your eyewear, and our Optical Protection Plan gives you clear support if anything goes wrong. 

What’s Included

Frame Breakage:
If your frame breaks within one year of purchase, we’ll replace it once for a $50 co-pay.  (VSP Premier Plan Members: this fee may be waived depending on the frame brand.)
Scratched or Damaged Lenses:
Lenses can be replaced 1–2 times within 1–2 years for a $50 co-pay, depending on the custom coating you selected.

Lost or Stolen Eyewear:
If your glasses are lost or stolen within one year: 

  • You’re eligible for a one-time (manufacturer-specific) discount on a replacement frame (if the original is still available).
  • Lenses can be replaced 1–2 times within 1–2 years for a $50 co-pay, depending on the custom coating you selected.
Prescription Changes:
If your doctor updates your prescription within 90 days of the original exam (or 6 months for VSP), we’ll remake your lenses once at no charge, using your existing frame. 
Return Policy:
Your eyewear is custom made with care and precision. If you’re not satisfied, we offer a 90-day return or exchange policy. (A $50 restocking fee may apply.) 

This protection plan is automatically included with every eyewear purchase to give you peace of mind and clear steps for resolving issues with your custom eyewear.

***The frame or lens manufacturer will sometimes offer a unique warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Not all manufacturers provide this warranty, and coverage varies per manufacturer. Some restrictions apply, see a team member for details.
