Dr. Austin Fay finished his undergraduate degree at Truman State University, where he majored in biology. He then went on to earn his optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry. He’s currently studying for his Business Management Certificate for Eye Care Professionals from the Indiana University School of Optometry and the Kelley School of Business.
He’s performed rotations at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center, the Sergeant Ernest I. “Boots” Thomas VA Clinic in Tallahassee, Fla., the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC, and the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Hadnot Point in Camp Lejune, NC.
Dr. Fay provides comprehensive eye exams and pediatric eye care. He is also an experienced provider of eye disease diagnosis and management.
Originally from Springfield, IL, Dr. Fay is bilingual in English and Spanish. He enjoys his work as an optometrist because he gets to help people and make a difference in their lives. His goal is always to provide thorough, honest care while building relationships with each patient.
When he’s not helping his patients see better, Dr. Fay enjoys staying active by working out, riding his bike, and playing pick-up soccer. He also enjoys visiting new cities!
