Dr. Shawna Moinipour attended York University in Toronto, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Afterward, she earned her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she was part of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. Before joining St. Johns Eye Associates, she worked at the VA hospital.
Dr. Moinipour specializes in contact lens fittings and eye exams, as well as helping older patients make the most of their health and vision. She also provides comprehensive eye exams and eye disease management.
When she’s not in the office helping patients, you can find Dr. Moinipour making the most of Florida’s beaches! She also enjoys going to the gym and is a former competitive dancer trained in jazz, ballet, tap, and hip-hop. She is originally from Canada and can understand Farsi.
